HIGH POINT BUCKLE SERIES
Each year, at the State Awards Banquet in November, a Buckle is awarded to the high point Cowboy and Cowgirl. The points are accumulated starting with the January match and ending with the October match. In order to make it as fair as possible for all levels, the Florida Outlaws use a bonus system to award points. A competitor will get one point for each rider he/she beats in a match. They will also receive additional points for each person they beat above their level. (Ex. If a level 2 beats a level 5, he/she will receive 3 extra points). These bonus points are based on gender. A man will receive no bonus points for beating a lady of a higher level and the same goes for the ladies.
